AFR stands for: automatic freon gas and refrigerator compressor oil removing machine. Another innovation from SEDA which is a big step forward in refrigerator recycling.

Unlike traditional systems which use special pliers to clamp the copper compressor pipes, the AFR drills the compressor from underneath which removes 98% of all oil and Freon gas. Plugging the drilled hole after drainage ensures the old compressor stays drip free. A leak test before drilling guarantees no CFC leakage.

De-pollution process:
Remove the compressor over the drilling table
Press the start button, the AFR will clamp the compressor, drilling, draining and separation of oil and CFC gas occurs fully automated.
As soon as the cycle is complete the AFR will stop automatically, releasing the compressor and signal that the compressor can be plugged and removed.
The coolant system is now empty, the drilled hole is closed and the compressor is ready to be recycled.
